Sayeda Zainab Shrine Nothing But Beauty Project

OBJECTIVES:
Develop a safe and secure path for religious tourism
Through coordination with Syrian Ministries, we are working to help facilitate safe visitation. We are working to reduce challenges for the shrine and its visitors by addressing security, infrastructure and political concerns. The renewal of the Sayeda Zainab district is founded upon the thoughtful reopening and principled stewardship of religious visitation. Faith-based tourism represents one of the most enduring, self-sustaining, and community-inclusive engines for upliftment, harmonizing spiritual devotion with meaningful local regeneration.
Shrine Energy Independence and Renovations
The Shrine of Sayeda Zainab is a beacon of hope to all those who struggle for truth, justice, and dignity. To ensure the self-sustainability of the Shrine for future generations, we aim to promote energy independence. Not only would this bolster financial sustainability but rightfully allow this sacred space to shoulder the responsibility of environmental stewardship while throwing off the shackles of geopolitical machinations sourced in the pursuit of fossil fuels.
Hospital and Humanitarian Initiatives
Though the Sayeda Zaynab district is home to over 250,000 people, there is not a single medical clinic capable of responding to a health crisis. The district has been mired by poverty for decades which has only been exacerbated by war. With careful coordination with the Shrine administrators and experts in the Healthcare field, we hope to establish a hospital that will serve the local population as well as increased religious tourists to the area.
