Ziyarat Operators Briefing: Bringing Momineen to the Haram of Bibi Sayyida Zaynab (s.a.)
This session is for established ziyarat caravan and tour group operators. It is not open to individual pilgrims.
UMAA Global invites experienced ziyarat operators to a working briefing on bringing groups to the shrine of Bibi Sayyida Zaynab (s.a.) in Damascus.
As access to Syria continues to open, operators across the United States, Canada, Europe, India, and Pakistan are fielding growing demand from momineen who wish to perform ziyarat. The obstacles are practical: visa pathways differ by country of origin and change frequently, ground arrangements must go through approved channels, and conditions at the haram and surrounding sites carry their own requirements for group conduct and safety.
This ninety-minute session is intended to put current, verified information directly in the hands of the people organizing these journeys.
What will be covered
- Visa processing pathways for pilgrims traveling from the United States, Canada, Europe, India, and Pakistan
- Ministry of Tourism–approved ground operations, including transport, accommodation, and local coordination
- Current guidance on majalis, azadari, and conduct at the haram and surrounding ziyarat sites
- Safety, security protocol, and group movement procedures
- Direct points of contact for coordination, and how to reach UMAA for continued support
Time is reserved at the end for live questions from participating operators.
Who should attend
Owners, directors, and operations leads of established ziyarat caravans, tour companies, and group travel organizations. Registration asks for your organization name, country of operation, years in service, and approximate annual pilgrim volume. Individual pilgrims and prospective travelers should not register; UMAA will share guidance for individual ziyarat through separate channels.
